Using a resource-saving, isostatic molding method, Berghof Fluoroplastics manufactures blanks as well as finished parts based on your samples, drawings and blueprints; not only made from PTFE and its compounds but also from every other known fluoroplastic. We are masters of nearly every mechanical processing technique, including the most up-to-date CNC equipment such as lathes, mills, drills and saws.

Bellows

Berghof Fluoroplastics produces bellows made from PTFE according to individual customer demands and for various applications and areas. Our bellows even resist high temperatures and are universally resistant against chemicals. Depending on the requirements, PTFE bellows can differ in function and loadability.

Due to their outstanding properties, Berghof’s PTFE bellows are primarily demanded in the medical sector and in the food industry. When required, we are modifying our bellows individually to the needs of our customers by using multicomponents.

Pump Linings

Companies in the chemical process industry are dealing with an almost infinite variety of liquid or gaseous media. This complicates the selection of a suitable housing material. However, there is a smart solution to face these challenges: universally chemical resistant linings of pump and valve housings.

Because of its unique, positive properties, for example its practically complete resistance to chemicals, the material PTFE is perfectly suited for these applications.

Containment Shell Linings

Containment shell linings made from Berghof’s PTFE are mainly used in magnetic coupling with high torque transmission.

Containment shells or containment tubes enable the contactless transmission of driving torques. Therefore, there is almost no loss in eddy current. This improves the efficiency of the power unit by 24 percent and drastically reduces the emerging temperatures through eddy current losses as well.

Containment shells or tubes lined with PTFE are resistant to corrosion, subject to limited exceptions. Using this concept, the liquids that are being processed only get in touch with PTFE. This makes it an all-rounder for the users.
