Products and solutions made from Berghof’s Optopolymer® boost the unique properties of PTFE by some other interesting points. The incomparable whiteness, unique purity and extreme diffuse reflexion factor lend them additional, unique optical properties. Optical PTFE is excellent for lighting engineering applications for which perfect diffuse reflection with even light distribution is essential. Optopolymer® by Berghof is employed from optical measurement engineering, where particularly diffusely reflecting so-called Lambertian surfaces are required, right through to conventional lighting technology in which the highest light efficiency and a natural colour rendition are critical. Regardless of the application, as a material with the greatest diffuse reflectance PTFE maximizes the efficiency of light sources by spreading the light evenly.
