The terrible news and images from Ukraine have left all of us at Berghof deeply saddened and stunned. After all, our company founder Prof. Georg Zundel has been committed to peace policy throughout his life, in particular through the establishment of the Berghof Foundation, "Stiftung für Konfliktforschung".

For all of us, therefore, the first priority is the hope that this war and the suffering associated with it will come to an end as soon as possible, and our thoughts are first and foremost with the people affected by this conflict. Of course, we also understand the concern of many companies that this conflict could negatively affect the performance and delivery capabilities of their partners and suppliers.

We can alleviate this concern, at least for Berghof Fluoroplastic GmbH: The delivery and performance capabilities of Berghof Fluoroplastics and our supply chain have not been directly affected by this conflict so far and will not be in the future, as far as we can foresee at the moment.

What cannot be estimated at the moment, however, is the influence on the price development for our products and services in the coming months due to the further aggravated cost development, above all for energy, but also for raw materials.

Let us hope together that the fightings will come to an end as soon as possible and that the impact on the world and its economic interdependencies will remain at a tolerable level for everyone - but especially for our business relationship with you - and we look forward to continuing our good and trusting cooperation.
